I’m Always Changing
© 2012 Larry Krone
When I was a baby boy the world was new
Next thing I know I’m forty-two
And I’m a man
I guess I’m a man, now
But the things I dreamed I would do
Somehow never came true
All my plans erased
So something better better take their place
Oh, I’m changing
Oh, changing
Like a bird just flies
The whole world happens without having to try
I wish the change in me
Could happen so easily
But what I’ve learned in life’s game
Is don’t slow down
‘Cause nothing stays the same
No, it’s gonna change
I start to think I know
Then I grow
I’m changing
I’m always changing
And if things work out right
At least I know I’ll make it through tonight
It’s OK, I’m changing
I start to think I know
Then I grow
I’m changing
I’m always changing
And if things work out right
At least I know I’ll make it through tonight
It’s OK, I’m changing
Hallelujah!
I’m always changing
